Electrical Fire On 787 Dreamliner No. 2
UPDATE: A serious in-flight fire in the electrical bay of Boeing 787 Dreamliner No. 2 caused an emergency landing in Laredo, Texas today. The plane was on a test flight with about 30 to 40 people aboard all of whom evacuated safely using emergency slides. The fire caused a disruption in cockpit flight controls, engine auto throttle, and flight displays. The Ram Air Turbine was automatically deployed to assist in power for landing.
